  • Kings Road, W LondonWaiting for the Chelsea Football Club open-top bus, the air was thick with anticipation and whistles. The day after winning the Champions League the West London team paraded down the streets towards Stamford Bridge, now a sea of blue and white. Celery sticks, camera phones and flags at the ready, the fans were rewarded for their two hour wait as the bus suddenly swung into view. And then it was all over, the fans left to raise their scarves in the air and parade down the path the bus had left chanting “we hate Tottenham”
